Shehana Buksh
Shehana received her associate degree with a focus in business from Shoreline Community College in 2012. She has been with Northwest Elder Law Group since 2016 where she primarily assists the attorneys with probate and estate administration, guardianship/conservatorship, estate planning, and vulnerable adult protection. She finds great satisfaction and joy when she helps others and loves having the opportunity to work as part of a team. When Shehana is not in the office, she enjoys adventuring outdoors, practicing yoga, and cooking.

Matthew Howell
Matthew received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Memphis in 2019. While in school, Matthew held leadership positions in multiple campus organizations, as well as working part-time in the service industry. In 2024, Matthew received his Paralegal Studies certificate from Boston University with a 4.0 GPA. Before joining the team at Northwest Elder Law Group, Matthew worked in South Korea for three years teaching English as a foreign language. Matthew assists Julia Lindeman with estate planning, guardianship, vulnerable adult protection, and probate matters. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys learning languages, weightlifting, playing chess, and practicing the guitar.

Audrey Bean
Audrey graduated from Western Washington University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. She received her Associates of Arts and Sciences with a focus in Journalism from Bellevue College in 2019. At both universities, Audrey worked in community-focused roles. At WWU, she supported the Program Director for the Human Services Department; a department that prepares students for jobs in nonprofit, government, and community-based services. She also worked for the campus publications, including the award-winning KLIPSUN magazine. After returning to the Seattle area, Audrey was delighted to join the team at Northwest Elder Law Group in 2024. As a Legal Assistant, Audrey operates the front desk, assists with client communications, and generally supports the paralegals and attorneys with anything they may need. Outside of work, Audrey enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Tess Warren
Tess received her bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in 2019. While in school, she held several jobs in the disability advocacy field and as a Direct Support Professional. Tess pivoted to working for a technology management consultant in West Seattle before joining Northwest Elder Law Group. Tess handles all administrative duties in the office. She will typically be your first point of contact at the firm as she handles most initial client inquiry calls and emails. Outside of the office, Tess enjoys focusing on art, dusting off her creative writing degree, and exploring the city with her dog, Alofa.
